What is IV Therapy?
Intravenous therapy is the administration of nutrients and medications via the intravenous route, using an IV line placed into a vein. An IV bag containing customized fluids (including electrolytes, vitamins, and other nutrients) is connected to a needle and slowly introduced into your blood vessels at a controlled flow rate.
The vitamin IV therapy process is designed to ensure rapid delivery of nutrients without relying on the gastrointestinal tract. The IV fluid treatment is quick and generally well tolerated. The infusions are administered by trained professionals who monitor your blood pressure, electrolyte levels, and overall response to the treatment.

Dr. Sárraga was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where he spent most of his life. NAD
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) is a coenzyme essential to cellular energy production and DNA repair. Administered via IV drip, NAD may improve cognitive performance, energy, and support healthy aging.
NAD+
NAD+ is a coenzyme that is essential for metabolism and energy production. It helps convert food into ATP, the primary energy currency of cells, through redox reactions in the mitochondria. Beyond energy, NAD+ also serves as a co-substrate for enzymes involved in DNA repair, cellular signaling, and the regulation of oxidative stress
Glutathione
Often referred to as the “master antioxidant,” glutathione supports the body’s natural detoxification processes. It helps reduce oxidative stress, brightens the skin, and may support cognitive clarity and immune function.
Vitamin C
High-dose vitamin C IV infusions are popular for their immune-boosting and antioxidant benefits. Unlike oral vitamin therapy, intravenous vitamin C achieves much higher concentrations in the blood, which may support skin health and wound healing.
IV Therapy Candidates
IV treatment is ideal for individuals with fatigue, vitamin deficiencies, dehydration, or those recovering from illness, travel, or stress. Candidates may also include those with gastrointestinal issues who cannot absorb nutrients properly, or people with specific nutritional needs due to medical conditions such as chronic fatigue, autoimmune disorders, or severe dehydration.
However, IV therapy isn’t right for everyone. Patients with certain heart or kidney issues may be at risk for fluid overload or too much fluid retention, which can lead to complications such as fast breathing or swelling. A full medical review will be conducted before intravenous access is allowed.
