What is Restylane?
Restylane is a hyaluronic acid filler that is specifically formulated to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. These include the lines that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth (nasolabial folds), and the lines that run from the corner of the mouth to the chin (marionette lines). It can also be used for lip enhancement in patients over the age of 21. Restylane can last from 6-9 months. The Restylane family of products also includes additional fillers. Restylane Silk
Restylane Silk is specifically formulated to augment the lips and smooth wrinkles around the mouth in patients 21 years and older. This filler is designed to provide natural-looking results in these delicate areas by using smaller, smoother hyaluronic acid particles than those used in other Restylane products. Results from Restylane Silk can last up to six months before a touch-up appointment is needed.
Restylane Lyft
Restylane Lyft is used for check augmentation and the correction of age-related midface contour deficiencies in those over the age of 21. This filler can also treat moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds for a more youthful look. Restylane Lyft results can last up to a year.
