The ARTIS Institute for Plastic Surgery in Aventura was created and meticulously designed by double-board certified and fellowship-trained Dr. Andres G. Sarraga, MD, FACS. Dr. Andres Sarraga, MD, FACS

Dr. Andres Sarraga is the founder and medical director of the ARTIS Institute for Plastic Surgery. A double-board certified and fellowship-trained plastic surgeon, Dr. Sarraga is recognized for his expertise, leadership, and dedication to advancing the field of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. He specializes in facial procedures, including advanced facelift techniques (including deep-plane & preservation face and necklift) eyelid surgery, and facial rejuvenation, scarless rhinoplasty and is renowned for his custom, patient-tailored approach to facial aesthetics. Dr. Sarraga has trained with top aesthetic surgeons in Boston and completed a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery, further cementing his reputation as a leader in facial plastic surgery. He has been an oculoplastics consultant since 2014 for various ophthalmology practices. He is an active member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS) and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), and Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons (FSPS) as well as past president and current member of the Miami Society of Plastic Surgeons (MSPS) and has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in Miami for five consecutive years as well as nominated top plastic surgeon in multiple categories in U.S. NEWS magazine

Dr. Baotram Tran, MD

Dr. Baotram Tran is a double board-certified plastic surgeon with over 15 years of distinguished surgical expertise. A Cornell-educated engineer turned physician, she completed her medical degree at Drexel University, followed by advanced training in general and plastic surgery at Wright State University and the University of Indiana. A former assistant professor at the University of Miami, Dr. Tran now brings her refined skills to the ARTIS Institute in Florida. As a female, Asian physician, Dr. Tran is deeply committed to inclusive, patient-centered care. She specializes in facial and body procedures, including Asian eyelid surgery, otoplasty, body contouring, breast surgery, and tummy tucks. Known for her meticulous technique, gentle approach, and warm, personable manner, Dr. Tran ensures that every patient feels seen, heard, and empowered throughout their aesthetic journey.

Dr. Amarie Negron, MD

Dr. Amarie Negron brings a highly personalized approach to patient care. She is an internist and Board Certified Rheumatologist who treats patients in a holistic approach. She trained at the University of Puerto Rico were she became an Internist, and did her advanced Rheumatology fellowship training at the University of Massachusetts. After practicing for 13 years as a Rheumatologist in Fort Lauderdale, she joined the ARTIS institute as the head of our Wellness Division.

She brings to ARTIS her expertise in treating patients who are interested in weight loss under medical supervision, and she also offers IV nutritional therapy tailored specifically to the needs of each patient.

Dr. Negron has vast experience in treating patients with autoimmune conditions, as well as fatigue, joint pain, and poor sleep. She is here to support each patient’s journey toward total well-being inside and out.

Our Facility

Located in the heart of Aventura, at the Aventura Hospital medical center, our 3,400-square-foot office contains a fully certified AAAASF operating room and accommodations for inpatient and overnight recovery. Before entering the office, our valet will park your vehicle with our complimentary valet services. In our welcoming waiting room, our friendly staff will greet you at the door before your appointment. The med-spa area is adorned with soothing décor, providing you with the relaxation you deserve during your treatment.
