Why is this better than neck liposuction?
Dr. Sarraga firmly believes that his S.I.M.P.L.E. neck lift is a more comprehensive procedure as it reshapes the 3 elements related to neck aging. Liposuction for neck reshaping is a blind procedure that only removes fat and while results may look great initially many patients suffer from deformities like skin dimpling, retractions, worse banding and sometimes indentations. Dr. Sarraga cautions patients about this procedure because only a small subset of them will have a good result.

Dr. Sarraga strongly believes that each procedure must be carefully designed and customized for the specific goals, needs, and desires of each individual patient. The individual neck lift surgery generally removes excess fat from under the skin in the neck area and then tightens and redrapes the skin and superficial muscles (platysma). These muscles frequently cause the vertical “bands” or “cords” that develop in the front of the neck as we age.
